2024 ANNUAL REPORT: ANOTHER HISTORIC YEAR FOR MRF

Taking advantage of these first days of 2025, as the year is already gaining momentum, we’ve taken a moment to reflect and review how 2024 went. We remember some of the key moments and celebrate the milestones achieved throughout the past year. We’ve made significant strides in our journey; these advancements would not have been possible without the support of our clients, suppliers, and collaborators. We introduced the N3XT family for urban logistics

A new family of MRF products, designed for the last mile, was launched in 2024. The N3XT range includes hinges, locks, and hardware specifically created for the demands of logistics in urban environments. These compact and lightweight solutions optimize space and facilitate agility in proximity operations, without compromising on strength or durability. With N3XT, we align with new industry trends and anticipate the challenges of the imminent future.

New machinery

In 2024, we enhanced our production and quality control capabilities with new technologies and improvements to our facilities. We upgraded our wire cutting systems, added a new machining center, a robotic assembly cell with laser marking, a stripping system, and a salt fog chamber for corrosion testing. We also implemented a fiber optic network ring that connects machinery and workstations, along with new integrations between our ERP and machinery for more efficient management. These new tools not only expand our capabilities but also strengthen our commitment to precision, quality, and energy consumption reduction.

Innovative SME Seal

In 2024, MRF received the prestigious Innovative SME Seal, awarded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Spain, valid for three years. This recognition highlights our dedication to research, development, and innovation in every area of our activity. We are proud to be part of this select group of companies driving technological advancement and contributing to the sustainable growth of the Made in Spain industry. This is undoubtedly another boost to strengthen our firm commitment to R&D&I, a driving force behind our differentiation that also benefits our clients and the industry.

New distributors to get closer

In 2024, our network of distributors grew to offer a more personalized service to our clients worldwide. This year, we added strategic partners that reinforce our presence in key markets: ARIS MAKINA in Turkey, DALAR in the Middle East, RESMA in France, Industrilas in the Nordic countries, TehConSup in the Baltic countries, and Mc Naughtans in South Africa.

Thanks to all these collaborators, we can ensure a more agile and personalized service to those who trust us in over 50 countries. Together, we continue to move forward!

Sales record

2024 has undoubtedly been another year to celebrate the trust of our clients, both those who continue to rely on us and those who have chosen to give us the opportunity to accompany them with our solutions.

We achieved a historic sales record, with a growth of over 13% in revenue compared to the already strong 2023. This year, we sold more than 100,000 closures and 200,000 hinges. These milestones also reflect the commitment of all the teams at MRF, who work in coordination, as one single mechanism, to ensure everything works smoothly at every stage of our production process and up to the final delivery to the client.

Improving every day

We also made solid progress in environmental, social, and governance matters in 2024. We measured our carbon footprint to set reduction goals, implemented our second Equality Plan to promote a more inclusive and equitable work environment, and streamlined new actions in compliance, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards.

The professional development of our teams has remained a fundamental pillar. Specialized training in governance, sustainability, and technical skills has enhanced individual capabilities, contributing to the growth and excellence of the entire organization.

Our presence at international fairs was also strengthened in 2024. For the first time, we participated in the Logistics and Transportation Fair in Mersin, Turkey, and in Automechanika Dubai, in addition to our usual participation at IAA Transportation in Hannover. These actions reinforce our global projection and bring us even closer to our clients and collaborators.

Looking ahead to 2025

With the achievements of 2024 as a foundation, we face 2025 with energy and ambition. Our priorities include expanding production capacity, incorporating new automation, and renewing our focus on our ESG (environmental, social, and corporate governance) commitment.
