Thousands of carriers face the impossibility of renewing fleet to face traffic restrictions
The growing strategy of restricting the circulation of vehicles based on their emissions has already triggered all the alarms among professional transporters, who face the tremendous challenge of facing the renewal of their fleets in a long period of time and in a scenario where the supply of vehicles is not yet as varied as would be desirable.
"In small vehicles electricity can be the solution, but if we go to the mid-range or heavy, everything points to gas", state from the Madrid´s Transport Committee.
“The problem is not only the additional cost that alternative energies suppose, it is that at present there is no infrastructure to be able to refuel neither gas nor electricity”.
